Arrested Development, created by Mitchell Hurwitz, is a critically acclaimed comedy series that first premiered in 2003. Known for its clever writing, quick wit, and layered jokes, the show follows the dysfunctional and eccentric Bluth family, a formerly wealthy clan whose personal flaws and poor decisions lead to constant chaos.

At the heart of the story is Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman), the only seemingly responsible family member, who struggles to hold the family and their struggling real estate business together after his father, George Sr. (Jeffrey Tambor), is arrested for fraud. The cast also includes unforgettable characters like the spoiled and oblivious Lindsay (Portia de Rossi), the magician-in-training G.O.B. (Will Arnett), the awkward and sweet George Michael (Michael Cera), and the eccentric mother Lucille (Jessica Walter).

The show’s unique style features a mockumentary format with narration by Ron Howard, quick-cut flashbacks, running gags, and sharp, self-referential humor.
